Netflix is developing a television series based on The Everlasting by Alix E. Harrow, a fantasy novel that blends history, romance, and time travel into one sweeping story.At the center of the novel is Sir Una Everlasting, a legendary knight whose heroic story helped shape an entire nation. Generations later, a struggling scholar named Owen Mallory becomes fascinated by her tale and finds himself pulled into the past. What follows is a story of fate, sacrifice, and two people trapped in a cycle that keeps repeating itself.
The adaptation is currently being written by Daphne Ferraro, whose previous work includes Maxton Hall and Dark. Harrow is also attached as an executive producer.If ordered to series, The Everlasting would join Netflix's growing collection of book-to-screen adaptations, alongside fan favorites like Bridgerton and The Queen's Gambit.
